Fine Furniture Refinishing Advice on How To Refurbish Furniture

The Furniture Doctor Restoration Shop.
I have been in this business for the past 25 years.
When I first started, I was refinishing kitchen cabinets and doing restaurant work.
The money was great, BUT I preferred to do in shop work only.
I started out working in my garage, since that time I have enlarged my shop three times.
My shop now has 2,500 square feet, and is very comfortable,
and brings me great satisfaction.
I started out with a company called Minute Men. They are still in business to this day.
I highly recommend them to anyone just starting out in the business.
Now I do in-shop residential work only.
I am a one man shop, and prefer it that way.
I am self-taught and learned by trial and error.
I have made my share of mistakes along the way.
Now at the age of 61 I want to share what took me 25 years to learn
with anyone who is interested.
This is the reason why I started writing my guides, so you won't have to make
the same mistakes that I made.
